Now, you too may experience the caramelized pecan and blood orange nuances of an authentically crafted and utterly satisfying fortified dessert wine.
Native to the island of Madeira and made from their Malvasia Bianca grape, Malmsey has a very long, rich and colorful history particularly in the U.S. and the British Empire. We have always had a fondness for these rare and unique wines so,
with but seventy rare Malvasia Bianca vines in Madera (not Madeira) and ten years of barrel aging patience, we made one, true to the historical methods and type. Of course we just had to submit it to the prestigeous Sunset International Wine Competition this year and.....
